Privacy Policy
How Ctmlp Group Pty Ltd collects, uses, safeguards and discloses personal information, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. Purpose of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Ctmlp Group Pty Ltd (ABN 93 701 360 974) ("Ctmlp Group", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal information. It applies to all visitors to ctmlpgroup.site and to all clients, prospective clients, suppliers and other individuals who interact with our business.
Ctmlp Group is a diversified professional services group based in Perth, Western Australia. Because our services span multiple practice areas within the group, information may be shared between our service teams where this is reasonably necessary to deliver coordinated services to you — but always in accordance with this policy and Australian law.
2. Our privacy obligations
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained within it. The APPs govern how Australian Privacy Principle entities collect, hold, use, disclose and otherwise manage personal information. This policy describes our compliance with the APPs and how you can exercise your rights under them.
3. Information we collect
The types of personal information we may collect include:
- Identity and contact details — your name, business name, email address, suburb or service region, and any other contact details you choose to provide;
- Enquiry and engagement details — the nature of your enquiry, the services you are interested in, and information you provide when requesting a quote through quote.html or contacting us via contact.html;
- Engagement records — correspondence, proposals, quotations, invoices and project documentation relating to services we provide to you;
- Business information — details supplied in the course of delivering group services, such as organisational information, requirements, preferences and feedback;
- Website usage data — non-identifying technical data such as browser type, device type, referring page and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics (see section 8).
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (such as health, racial or religious information) through this website, and we ask that you not provide such information unless it is genuinely necessary for an engagement.
4. How we collect information
We collect personal information in several ways:

- During engagements — through consultations, briefings, documents you provide, and the ordinary course of delivering services;

- From third parties — where you have consented, or where another party (for example, a referrer) provides your details with your permission.
Where reasonably practicable, we collect personal information directly from you. If you provide us with information about another person, please ensure that person is aware of, and consents to, the disclosure.
5. Why we collect information
We collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for purposes including:
- responding to your enquiries and requests for quotes or proposals;
- assessing your requirements and recommending suitable services within the group;
- delivering, managing, invoicing and administering services you have engaged us to perform;

- sending you information about our services, where you have consented or where you would reasonably expect this (you may opt out at any time).
We will not use or disclose your personal information for a purpose other than the primary purpose of collection, unless you have consented, you would reasonably expect the use or disclosure, or an exception under the Privacy Act applies.
6. Use and disclosure
We treat personal information as confidential. We may disclose personal information to:
- our service teams within Ctmlp Group, where sharing is reasonably necessary to deliver coordinated group services to you;
- trusted service providers who assist our business operations — for example, website hosting, email, cloud storage, analytics and professional advisers — under confidentiality obligations and only to the extent necessary for their functions;
- professional advisers such as accountants, auditors or lawyers, where reasonably required;
- government bodies, regulators or courts, where required or authorised by law.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
7. Overseas disclosure
Some of the service providers we use may store, process or back up data using infrastructure located outside Australia. Where personal information is disclosed to a recipient overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient does not breach the Australian Privacy Principles, including through contractual safeguards and careful selection of providers. Our preference is always to use providers that store data within Australia where this is practicable.
9. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Measures include access controls, secure storage, staff confidentiality expectations and limiting access to information on a need-to-know basis. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable laws including taxation and business record-keeping requirements. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
10. Anonymity and pseudonymity
Where lawful and practicable, you have the option of dealing with us anonymously or using a pseudonym — for example, when browsing this website or making a general enquiry. For quotations, engagements and invoicing, we will generally need your real identity and contact details to provide the service.
11. Access and correction
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request correction of information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.
To make an access or correction request, email our Privacy Officer at ceo@ctmlpgroup.site. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity before releasing information, and in limited circumstances we may decline a request where permitted by law — in which case we will explain our reasons in writing.
12. Complaints
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or mishandled your personal information, please raise your concerns with our Privacy Officer at ceo@ctmlpgroup.site. Please include enough detail for us to investigate — for example, what happened, when it occurred and how you would like the matter resolved.
We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to provide a substantive response within thirty (30) days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) via www.oaic.gov.au.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services or legal obligations. The current version will always be published on this page, together with the date of our most recent review. Continued use of this website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
